Welcome to the Next Step Junior Golf Program webpage.

NEXT STEP  has been developed for the competitive junior golfer who wishes to move beyond the "Junior Golf Camp" or "Group Lesson" mentality and GET SERIOUS about learning and improving, with the goal of making a high school or college golf team.

This is an 7 MONTH PROGRAM from MAY 1st TO DECEMBER 1st every year. Enrollment is limited to a total of 16 juniors, who will be working together and seperately to achieve their personal goals.This program is unique, in that it is designed and run by a COLLEGE GOLF COACH who is also an experience professional and 20+ year member of the LPGA. Beacuse of this background, those accepted to the shcool will go through a program designed by someone who knows what it takes to "make the team". Next Step focuses on getting the serious junior golfer on a specific game plan in order to be prepared to try out for their local high school team, or be prepared when the time comes to pick a college to play for. Next Step will help the competitive junior golfer through the process of applying to schools with the specific desire to play for the golf team, and even possibly be awarded a scholarship to do so.

THE PROGRAM INCLUDES:

A WEEKLY 30 MINUTE PRIVATE LESSON

MONTHLY WORKSHOPS THAT ALL MEMBERS ATTEND TOGETHER ON RULES, COURSE STRATEGY, MENTAL TOUGHNESS/FOCUS, AND SHORT GAME

GROUP TOURNAMENTS ONCE A MONTH TO GET INTO REAL LIFE COMPETITIVE SITUATIONS

PERIODIC GUEST INSTRUCTION AND INFORMATION FROM PGA/LPGA/NATIONWIDE/FUTURES/CLEVELAND GOLF GOLDEN STATE TOUR PLAYERS

INDIVIDUALLY DESIGNED PROGRAM FOR EACH PARTICIPANT TO CHART HIS/HER PRACTICE DIRECTION AND PROGRESS.

COMPUTER VIDEO ANALYSIS

DISCOUNTS ON PLAYING RATES AND RANGE BALLS AT RIVERVIEW GOLF COURSE

FIELD TRIP TO A PGA OR LPGA TOURNAMENT

PROGRAM COST: $199 PER MONTH

PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS MUST PAY FOR 2 MONTHS AT A TIME IN ADVANCE. 1ST PAYMENT DUE WHEN REGISTERING JUNIOR FOR THE PROGRAM.

Participants are allowed to come into program at any time during the 8 month period, with a maximum enrollement of 16.  Ages 11-17 accepted.
