KRIS will be attending the NATIONAL GOLF COACHES ASSOCIATION  meeting in December. USGA Rules seminar, TITLEIST INSTITUTE for FITNESS, and SPORT PSYCHOLOGY, (the game within the game as you all know!) will be on her agenda.

Congratulations to VICTORIA VALLEJOS of the Santa Ana College Women's Golf team. Victoria made it to the STATE FINALS for all of California with her great play at the So Cal Regionals. Finals were held at OLIVAS LINKS GC in Ventura November 17-18th. Victoria finished tied for 8th place individual with an 82-78/160 total over the 2 days! Great Job Victoria!

The Women's Golf Team of Santa Ana College has done it again! Sending 3 individual this year to the Regionals. Christi Whittemore, Sam Shade, and Victoria Vallejos all advanced to the tournament held at Desert Dunes GC in Palm Springs on November 10-11th. Awesome season you guys! Play well!

DANTE FERINACCI has made it onto the Foothill High School Boy's Golf Team. Dante has only been playing for about 8 months, but he had packed about 3 years worth of practice/playing/lessons into those months. He's improving quickly, and looks forward to the spring when he can start competing with the team. GO DANTE! GO FOOTHILL!

The 2nd annual "SUMMER SCRAMBLE" Santa Ana College Women's Golf Team Fund Raiser was a great success!! We had more players, more gifts/prizes, and better weather this year! Thanks to President ERLIND MARTINEZ for coming out for support as we were signing in participants and teeing off. The Summer Scramble was held at Riverview Golf Course again. A shout out to Riverview as well for supporting this golf tournament. You who missed this year.....we'll be back doing this again next July 20th at 1:00. Look for registration on the SAC.EDU website starting in late May.
